Print from its Android phone, now you can!
Who does not want to print documents without having to restart the computer off? Who ever thought a tablet would be ideal for this type of task? Who has not wanted to impress those around him by printing documents from their phone? If you are in one of these cases, Google has to provide the tool you made. Cloud Print can print on a remote printer, while using the cloud. The system was originally developed for ChromeOS, but yesterday Google has opened its service to the devices and IOS Android 2.1 + 3 +. The printer can for the time being connected to a Microsoft Windows XP, Vista or 7.
I made a video that shows the ease of installation and printing. Cleaning the printer takes longer than the configuration!
The principle is simple: the printer must be turned on and connected to the computer. It should then download Google Chrome beta minimum (or channel dev / build canary ). Once the browser running, you must click on the wrench on the top right of the screen. You must then select the Options submenu, then select the Advanced tab:

At the bottom of the page must activate the connector Cloud Google Print . A popup will then ask you to enter your credentials Google. Once connected, your system is ready to print!
Let us turn to the Android smartphone. Only two web services (HTML5) are eligible for the moment: GMail and Google Docs (English version). Simply select a document / mail and click the double down arrow and choose Print. Some attachments, such as *. pdf and *. doc can be sent to Cloud Print.

Once this menu is selected, the printer list will open. Choose the one you want and choose:
Orientation: portrait / landscape
Printing multiple copies
Color / Grayscale
You just have to click on Print at the bottom of the page and the document is sent to the printer:

This service works very well and we regret that only English services are supported. The Mac and Linux will soon be compatible, allowing wider dissemination of this service.
Do you think that this service be useful? The you use?
