The first pictures of the Motorola Xoom 2

Despite the disappointing sales of the Motorola Xoom, the American company is currently working on a successor, namely the Motorola Xoom 2. And after boss for weeks and weeks to find him a name as original as possible, the engineers of the firm finally managed to develop a first prototype. So far, nothing unusual except that some pictures were leaked to Engadget. And what you can see a little lower, it is precisely the first photos of the Motorola Xoom 2.

And apparently, the touch pad is available in two distinct models. The first would offer a screen 10-inch IPS and a sensor that can record video in 720p or 1080p. We know much yet but this should logically slate on at least one dual-core processor and something like 1 GB of RAM. Otherwise, the Motorola Xoom 2 is rather thin (9 mm) and probably quite small, there is a chassis based on aluminum and magnesium. Cool, and all turn in Google Android 3.2.

The second model, in turn, would take exactly the same characteristics as the first model while offering a smaller screen. There is talk of a diagonal of 8.2 inches. Okay, not bad but I personally am not a super fan of the design. In any case, it is hoped that the course Motorola Xoom 2 will cost a bit less expensive than Xoom. Without that, sales are likely to have once again struggling to take off.

Note: And live fingerprints!
