HTC is currently in a very difficult situation and the firm will have to compete ingenuity to get back into the race and, by extension, to revive its business. After we have bestowed a very promising HTC One, it could well soon back cover with a new terminal that will this time look towards Windows Phone. A terminal that is referred to as code Tiara and whose technical specifications are found on the web earlier this week thanks to friends from home Unwired View.
And yes, it is once again the now very popular @evleaks which is the origin of this new rumor. This is obviously a good thing because it is rarely wrong in the past and it is quite possible that all that information eventually proved to be correct. Well, that said, there will still remain cautious, if that principle.
According to @evleaks, HTC Tiara could therefore reach the market around May 15. It would benefit from a WVGA Super LCD 4.3 inch 2, a dual-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon clocked at 1.2 Ghz, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB of storage space, a sensor of 8 megapixel (no ultrapixel so) and a second sensor of 1.6 megapixel front to top it all. Behind, we find also a 1800 mAh battery and all the usual connectivity.
On paper, we end up with a mobile officer should in the medium range. However, it is also the first smartphone to take advantage of the new update of Windows Phone 8, an update to be deployed in the wake of other Windows Phone market. Logically, it could be inserted between the HTC and the HTC 8X 8S and come as complete range of the manufacturer.
